I am Orlando Andersson, a passionate photographer with a Bachelor of Arts in Commercial Photography earned from The Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen. Throughout my journey, I have had the unique opportunity to live in a variety of countries, including Sweden, Taiwan, England, Belgium, Scotland, and the Netherlands, each of which has contributed significantly to my artistic perspective. My work primarily focuses on architecture, documentary, and street life, where I place a strong emphasis on the interplay of geometry, lines, curves, and intricate patterns found within buildings. I strive to capture the dynamic essence of city life and cultural events in vibrant metropolises such as Rotterdam, Copenhagen, Stockholm, and New York. Additionally, I explore the rich tapestry of emerging cityscapes and the haunting beauty of decaying industrial sites, delving into the contrasts that exist between urban wealth and poverty. In recent years, I have also embraced the role of a filmmaker and have become an efficient video editor, allowing me to expand my creative horizons. I am currently based near The Hague in the Netherlands, where I continue to pursue my passion for visual storytelling.
